During my three-year dual apprenticeship as Industrial Business Management Assistant at ALNO AG in Pfullendorf (Germany), a leading manufacturer of kitchens in Europe, I had the opportunity to get a profound insight into the daily business as well as to get an overview of the different departments of an internationally operating company. Additionally, I was involved in a variety of projects and learned much about project management. I focused on sales during my apprenticeship, assisted sales manager and field representatives and supported the sales in South and West Germany as well the sales in Austria. After my apprenticeship I decided to take the challenge and do an internship abroad. I joined AMSI/Aaxsys Technology in San Francisco in 2008 for a one year marketing internship. I have gotten to know new business behaviors through different marketing projects, learned much about business in America and was able to greatly improve my English language skills. What am I doing? I am now back in Germany where I study in Heidelberg to become a Bachelor of Marketing and to gain a deeper insight into the world of marketing.
